Monday.com integration

Overview

The Monday.com integration automatically tracks your sales funnel and customer journey by connecting Monday.com CRM events to Spectacle's attribution system. When contacts are created, accounts are updated, or deals progress through your pipeline, these activities are captured as attribution events in real-time.

Monday.com CRM uses a board-based structure where Contacts, Accounts, and Deals are organized in separate boards. The integration connects to each of these boards to capture relevant activities.

Setup & Configuration

Connecting

You can connect your Monday.com account to Spectacle by clicking the "Connect" button on the Monday.com integration on your workspace's settings page.

Configuration

After connecting your Monday.com account, you can configure the following settings:

Contacts Board (required): Select the Monday.com board where you store your CRM contacts. The integration will automatically detect CRM-style boards and suggest the most likely match.

Accounts Board (required): Select the Monday.com board where you store your company/account records. This enables organization tracking and account-based attribution.

Deals Board (required): Select the Monday.com board where you track your sales deals and opportunities.

Contact Id Field (optional): Choose a column from your Contacts board that contains the internal User Id from your own system. When configured, we will Identify any Monday.com contacts. This will make them show up on the Audiences page under Contacts.

Company Id Field (optional): Choose a column from your Accounts board to identify companies. When configured, we will Group any Monday.com accounts. This will make them show up on the Audiences page under Companies.

Additional Contact Fields (optional): Select additional columns from your Contacts board to sync to Spectacle. You can view and filter these properties within the platform.

Additional Account Fields (optional): Select additional columns from your Accounts board to sync to Spectacle. You can view and filter these properties within the platform.

Contact Tracking

Automatic Event Generation

When contacts are created or updated in Monday.com, Spectacle automatically generates these attribution events:

  • Monday.com: Contact Created - When a new contact item is added to your Contacts board

Synced Contact Properties

The following properties are automatically synced for contacts:

  • Item id
  • Board id
  • Contact name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Associated account
  • Any configured custom columns

Account/Company Tracking

Account Events

Track your B2B relationships with automatic event generation for account activities:

  • Monday.com: Account Created - When new account items are created in your Accounts board

Synced Account Properties

The following properties are automatically synced for accounts:

  • Item id
  • Board id
  • Account/company name
  • Website
  • Any configured custom columns

Deal Progression Tracking

Deal Events

Track your sales funnel with automatic event generation for deal activities:

  • Monday.com: Deal Created - When new deals are created in your Deals board
  • Monday.com: Deal Updated - When existing deals change status or stage

Synced Deal Properties

When deals are created or updated, the following properties are synced to both the associated contact and account:

  • Deal id (item id)
  • Board id
  • Deal title
  • Deal value
  • Deal currency
  • Deal status
  • Deal stage

Contact-Account Associations

Association Tracking

When contacts are associated with accounts in Monday.com, Spectacle tracks these organizational relationships automatically. This enables account-based marketing (ABM) attribution and helps you understand which marketing activities drive company-level engagement.

The integration automatically:

  • Links contacts to their associated accounts
  • Tracks deal associations with both contacts and accounts
  • Syncs relationship data for complete journey visibility

Event Attribution

All Monday.com events are automatically attributed to your marketing touchpoints, allowing you to:

  • Measure which campaigns generate the most qualified leads
  • Track the complete customer journey from first touch to closed deal
  • Calculate real ROI for your marketing spend
