Overview

Spectacle connects to Reddit Ads in about 10 minutes and attributes every CRM contact, deal, and payment to the Reddit campaign, ad group, and ad that started the journey. Reddit Ads Manager counts conversions inside its own window. Spectacle records the whole journey, from the first Reddit click to the closed deal, and joins your Reddit spend to the pipeline it produced.

The gap in Reddit Ads Manager's own reporting

Reddit Ads Manager attributes a conversion when the Reddit Pixel fires inside its own click window. It cannot tell you whether that conversion became a CRM contact, a qualified deal, or a paying account, and it sees nothing of the docs visits and branded searches that follow a Reddit click. Reddit is an experiment for most teams, so the decision comes down to a hunch: the CPC looks cheap, the sales team has not heard of a single Reddit lead, and the budget goes either way.

Spectacle sits underneath: a first-party snippet on your site, your Reddit account configured for tracking automatically, spend imported, and every downstream milestone from your CRM or payment provider on the same timeline as the Reddit click.

What syncs

  • Tracking configuration: Written to your Reddit Ads account automatically; existing UTM schemes are respected
  • Campaign and ad group: Every visit resolves to a campaign and ad group
  • Ad: Attributed at ad level, so creative and ad-group targeting can be compared on revenue
  • Spend: Imported over OAuth, backfilled from the first tracked click

Every configuration option lives in the Reddit Ads docs. This page summarizes; Docs is the source of truth.

What you get

  • A verdict on the channel within one journey window. Set the window to your sales cycle, run Reddit for that long, and read pipeline and revenue per campaign against spend. Keep it or kill it on a number.
  • Cost per CRM contact and per deal by campaign. Reddit spend joined to outcomes from HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Odoo, or Stripe.
  • Credit for the first touch. A Reddit click on day 1 gets credit for the deal on day 47 in first-touch, linear, and U-shaped models, after Reddit's own window has closed and GA4 has logged it as direct.
  • Setup without touching each ad. Reddit is the only network on this list where Spectacle configures tracking for you, so a 2-week test costs 10 minutes of setup.

Pairs with

Reddit Ads + HubSpot · Reddit Ads + Salesforce · Reddit Ads + Stripe · Other ad networks: LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Snapchat Ads

How Spectacle and Reddit Ads work together

  1. Connect Reddit Ads. Settings → Integrations → Reddit Ads → Connect. OAuth to your Reddit Ads account.
  2. Let Spectacle configure tracking. Spectacle sets the tracking parameters on your Reddit Ads account. Any UTM scheme you already use stays as it is.
  3. Journeys fill in. Spectacle imports spend from the first tracked click, matches each click to a campaign, and attributes CRM and payment events back to it.

What you gain by connecting Reddit Ads

  • A verdict on the channel within one journey window. Set the window to your sales cycle, run Reddit for that long, and read pipeline and revenue per campaign against spend.

See the integration in practice

A real-estate developer ran 2 paid channels on the same budget and judged them on platform-reported leads. Measured in Spectacle on CRM contacts, one channel cost $878 per contact and the other $128. The expensive one had looked fine in its own dashboard. Budget moved the same week. A Reddit test gets the same treatment: spend in, contacts and deals out, one cost per contact next to every other channel. (Anonymized.)

FAQ

Does Spectacle integrate with Reddit Ads?

Yes. Spectacle connects to Reddit Ads over OAuth, configures your account for tracking automatically, imports spend, and credits CRM and payment outcomes back to the Reddit campaign, ad group, and ad. Setup takes about 10 minutes.

Can Spectacle send conversions or audiences back to Reddit?

On request. Conversion and audience syncs ship for Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and OpenAI Ads; for Reddit we build the sync when a customer needs it. Reddit attribution itself runs inside Spectacle from day one.

Why doesn't my Reddit Ads Manager conversion count match Spectacle?

Reddit counts Pixel conversions inside its own attribution window and its own idea of who the person is. Spectacle tracks first-party on your domain, applies one journey window across every channel, and credits CRM and payment events, which can land weeks after Reddit has stopped counting.

Do I need a Reddit Ads tier or a minimum spend?

No. Any Reddit Ads Manager account works. Spectacle needs OAuth access to the ad account for spend import and tracking configuration.

What does the Reddit Ads integration cost?

Nothing extra. It is included in every Spectacle plan from $349 per month, and the 14-day free trial includes it with no credit card. Spend imports from the first tracked click.
