Overview
Spectacle connects to Monday.com in about 10 minutes and attributes every contact, account, and deal on your boards to the marketing touchpoints that came before it. Monday.com records that a deal moved to the next status. Spectacle records the Google Ads click 3 months earlier, the colleagues from the same account who visited since, and the LinkedIn campaign that reached the first of them, and reports the deal's value against what each of those touchpoints cost.
At a glance
- Category: Crm
- Setup time: About 10 minutes; the board picker suggests the likely Crm boards for you
- Authentication: OAuth, authorised from your Monday.com account
- Monday.com plan: Monday.com Crm, with Contacts, Accounts and Deals held on separate boards
- Spectacle plan: All Spectacle plans (Essential, Scale, Enterprise); company-level attribution on Scale and Enterprise
- Direction: Monday.com → Spectacle over webhooks. Deal milestones then go Spectacle → ad platforms as conversions and audiences. The 3 workflow blocks also let your own automations push events into Spectacle
- Objects: Contact items, account items, deal items, and the columns you nominate on each
- Sync: Real time, as board items are created and updated
- Docs: /docs/monday
The gap in Monday.com's own reporting
Monday.com is a board, and a board knows what is on it. Deal items carry a status, a value, and an owner; dashboards roll them up by stage and by rep. What no column holds is where the contact came from, unless a person typed it in — and the person who fills in a source field is guessing, months after the click that actually mattered.
The usual patch is a source column plus a form, which captures the last link someone clicked and nothing before it. A prospect who found you through a paid search ad in March, read three blog posts in April, and filled in a form from a bookmark in May is recorded as direct. The campaign that started the whole thing shows 0 deals.
Spectacle sits underneath: a first-party tracking snippet on your site, your ad accounts connected for cost, and Monday.com board changes turned into attribution events on the same timeline.
What syncs
- Contacts board: Monday.com: Contact Created events, with item id, board id, contact name, email, phone, and the associated account, so website visitors resolve to Crm contacts
- Accounts board: Monday.com: Account Created events, with item id, board id, account name, and website, so contacts roll up to the account journey
- Deals board: Monday.com: Deal Created and Deal Updated events, with deal title, value, currency, status, and stage — one event per status change, synced to both the contact and the account
- Columns you choose: Any additional contact or account columns you nominate become filterable properties in Spectacle. A contact id column and a company id column can be mapped for identity stitching against your own system
- Your own automations: 3 Spectacle workflow blocks — track event, identify contact, group account — usable in Monday.com automations to push custom events, including revenue and a transaction id for de-duplication
The full property list and the workflow block fields live in the Monday.com docs. This page summarizes; Docs is the source of truth.
What you get
- A source for every Monday.com contact, filled in by the journey. No reliance on a rep choosing a value from a dropdown. The Google Ads keyword, the LinkedIn campaign, or the organic post is already on the timeline when the item is created.
- Deal value by channel, campaign, and keyword. Status changes with value and currency flow in as they happen, so pipeline and won value are reported against the touchpoints that produced them, across first-touch, last-touch, linear, and U-shaped models.
- Account-level journeys. Every contact at the same account on one timeline (Scale and Enterprise plans), so a deal with 4 stakeholders is credited to the campaign that reached the first one.
- Your boards as they are. Spectacle reads the boards and columns you already use. No new board, no schema change, no denormalising to make attribution work.
- Cost per contact and per won deal by channel. Ad spend from Google, LinkedIn, Meta, Microsoft Advertising, and OpenAI joined to Monday.com outcomes, and Monday.com milestones sent back as conversions and audiences so bidding optimises for pipeline.
Pairs with
Monday.com + Google Ads · Monday.com + LinkedIn Ads · Monday.com + Calendly for the meetings in front of the deal · Monday.com + Stripe for what is actually paid
- Connect Monday.com. Settings → Integrations → Monday.com → Connect, from your Spectacle workspace, then authorise Spectacle from your Monday.com account.
- Point Spectacle at your boards. Pick the Contacts, Accounts, and Deals boards — Spectacle detects Crm-style boards and suggests the likely match. Optionally map a contact id and company id column for identity stitching, and nominate any extra columns to sync.
- Journeys fill in. Item creations and status changes arrive over webhooks and are stitched to the visits already recorded on your site. Add the Spectacle workflow blocks to your own automations if you want to push custom events too.
